In the City of Angels, anything is possible.
Join us on October 7th as we light LA Pink!
Hosted at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, this year's event invites you to a fabulous evening of cocktails and music, all while raising critical funds to support life-saving research.
Inspired by the life of Los Angeles attorney, wife, and mother Liz Smagala Tate. In May 2013, at 37 years old and three months after giving birth to her son Lucas, Liz was diagnosed with stage IV triple negative breast cancer. When she turned 38, Liz turned her final birthday into a fundraiser and designated the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the world’s largest private funder of breast cancer research and the nation’s highest-rated, as the recipient.
To date, Liz’s legacy event has raised over $680,000 for life-saving research. This year, LA Goes Pink is funding the work of LA-based metastatic breast cancer researcher, Dr. Heather McArthur at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Millions of Angelenos have lived a version of Liz’s story. LA Goes Pink was founded to bring our community together to eradicate this illness once and for all.
